Mary Choi Kelly, PhD

A globally recognized change management expert with a personal passion for building diverse and inclusive cultures, Ms. Kellys experience includes Talent Management, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Organization Structure & Design, and Change Management.  Ms. Kelly is sought out for her expertise in leading large-scale organizational change and culture transformation, including organizational ramp-up, build, and restructuring initiatives.  She has a reputation for being a passionate and purpose-driven leader who has the unique ability to connect with a broad audience, from the C-Suite to front-line employees.  Ms. Kelly is praised for her authentic and approachable facilitation and presentation style that results in deep discovery and engaging dialogue that inspires individuals to realize their greatest potential in work and life.

With over three decades of experience working with leaders in global organizations, Ms. Kelly has cultivated an extensive portfolio of experience and best practices through senior leadership roles in organizations that include MGM Resorts International, Bank of America, Mattel Inc., Honeywell International, and Marriott International.  Additionally, she has led the growth of a global e-commerce company as the head of human resources during the internet startup boom.  

 

She is a pioneer in the change management field and has developed pragmatic change strategies and tools for SAP, Oracle, and Workday implementations.  In addition, she has developed change solutions to accelerate employee knowledge and adoption of new behaviors and expectations resulting from large-scale organizational changes.  She brings a holistic view to organizational issues and challenges by leveraging her diverse experience, knowledge and global, commercial mindset.  Mary is also the host of the podcast, “Fresh Out & Figuring It Out”, which helps young adults lead with confidence, compassion and heart.

Ms. Kelly holds a PhD and MA in Organizational Psychology from Alliant University and a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.  She is also an active contributor to the field of Human Resources as an advisor, author and speaker.  She is the proud mother of two boys and enjoys taking advantage of everything life has to offer.
